The MU-AMS is partnering with a unique small business in Lancaster City to bring you a refreshing new opportunity to raise funds for future events. Tell your friends outside the AMS chapter, as many people know about Rachel's and would love to have another reason to go there! Make sure you show this post or a paper flyer to ensure a portion of your check is donated. Rachel herself will be cooking on this day so let's make sure we impress her!!

AMS Meetings

We host mandatory meetings each year: State of the AMS, where we recap the semester and overview the direction of the organization, and our Elections Meeting where we select new officers for the next year.

Met-Mentor program

Met-Mentor events are in the first month of each new school year. They introduce incoming students to upperclassmen through social gatherings and team-building exercises. Contact an officer to join us in welcoming the newest group of student meteorologists!

Chapter meetings

Our student chapter operates as a team. All students are welcome to listen in and help decide the future of our chapter through bi-weekly Chapter Meetings.

Committees

MU-AMS runs two committees: Events/Fundraising, focused on social and professional development, and Community Outreach, focused on teaching and volunteering in our community. These committees showcase our student body's impressive involvement and volunteer qualities.

We also host social events including movie nights, bowling nights, Hershey Park trips and more! We hope to add an escape room, laser tag, an observatory trip, a Hershey Bears game and more this year.
