This is night 2 of our Annual Sugar Bowl Fundraiser. Sign up and help us deliver pizza to the people in our community (and even some of our professors). This is usually our biggest fundraiser of the year, so we will need a lot of people to sign up to help out. Use the link below, and please consider helping us out as a driver or a passenger, even if it’s for one shift (1 shift = 1 hour). For those in the honors college, you can get community service time for this; you will just need one of the current officers to sign off on it.

AMS Chapter Meetings

During the school year, we will host monthly meetings (except in December, January, and May) to discuss what we have been up to in the previous month(s) and the exciting events we have planned for the following weeks.

Met-Mentor program

Met-Mentor events are in the first month of each new school year. They introduce incoming students to upperclassmen through social gatherings and team-building exercises. Contact an officer to join us in welcoming the newest group of student meteorologists!

Speaker Series

Professionals in the atmospheric sciences, emergency management, and other related communities share their experiences and advice through our popular Speaker Series. See past speakers here.

Sub Clubs

MU-AMS has 4 sub-clubs within the chapter. These include Millersville Storm Tracking (MiST), Space Weather, Weather Watch, and Weather Balloon Team. If you are interested in joining any of these clubs, please attend our annual Sub-Club Round Robin, where you can sign up!

We also host social events including movie nights, bowling nights, Hershey Park trips and more! We hope to add an escape room, laser tag, an observatory trip, a Hershey Bears game and more this year.
